The urge to consume content indefinitely keeps you away from integration and creation.
I’ve been that person. The modern world is designed for consumption. It’s an addiction cycle that can be tricky to opt out of because of how convenient it is. You just need to whip out your phone and numb out on your phone for hours.
And at a certain point of embodiment, this just isn’t an option anymore.
There’s a difference between letting a teaching rest
sink in
observe how your body reacts to it
see how that pattern shows up in your life. . .
And consuming content for the sake of entertainment.
If you need constant access to your spiritual teachers, mentors, if you need more and more words and posts,
then you’re numbing out.
It’s skin-deep.
And it’s not in your own service. It’s your ego feeding itself.
This is a stepping stone. We’ve all been there because we’re trained to be disembodied.
Digestion means sitting with the transmission. Letting it sink in. Becoming curious about where in your life the teaching applies.
That’s the hard part we like to avoid. And some avoidance is normal for a while because embodiment doesn’t happen overnight. Your container requires gentle tending to, gradual expansion, and also gentle compression afterwards.
There’s no breath without an expanding AND retracting belly.
